And, in my opinion, while it's true than many new artists out there aren't lyricists, that doesn't mean their music isn't good (as is proven in this video). You need some sweet beats to go along with those fire lyrics! Or, if you sing, you need some nice tunes, rhythm, and a melody, to connect with your audience.
Don't get caught-up in being a perfectionist, shake it and bake it so you can cake-up and make other major moves.
